Time.
This week has possibly been both the most productive and least productive weeks I've had in a long time! The ridiculous amounts of snow has forced the university to shut almost all week.
I've been drawing and Photoshopping up a storm as you can see.
Anyway, in keeping with productivity, here's some images I'm working on for my Fashion Promotion unit at uni. A self branding task.

Tailoring Project
I based my project loosely on power dressing and took inspiration from Armour and the work of photographer Helmut Newton.
Above is the result of the 9 week project.
A single-breasted womens jacket with 4 functioning jetted pockets with flaps, single back vent, button less vented cuffs, detachable sleeves and brocade lapels.
Two simple illustrations to accompany the project. The top one is for this garment.

Fur Fox Sake...
Today I went to the National Anti-Fur march and rally in London. Organised by CAFT-Coalition to Abolish Fur Trade.
As a lover of fashion and a life long vegetarian this is something I have a strong opinion on.
The march route took us down Sloane St. which is home to many of the big fashion designers such as Prada, Versace, Armani etc. Most of which continue to use fur.
We also headed to Harrods and belittled them for some time as well as having a moments silence for the animals that loose their lives for the vanity of humans.
Harrods is currently the only department store in the UK that does NOT have a fur free policy.
Boycott.
Boycott.
Boycott.
Thank you.
